Why go

Private Italy holidays: villas on the Amalfi Coast, in Tuscany, and in Puglia, with private guides, boats, and tables arranged in advance.

Italy is a villa country. The best weeks start with the house: a terrace over the sea at Amalfi, a farmhouse with a pool in the Tuscan hills, a masseria among the olives in Puglia.

We plan the days around it: a boat along the coast, a guide for the one city visit, and the tables that fill up weeks ahead.

Italy is best taken one region at a time. A villa week on the Amalfi coast, in Tuscany or on Lake Como, with a cook and a boat or a driver on call, gives you the country at its most generous; a few nights in Rome, Florence or Venice with private guides before or after gives it shape.

June and September are the sweet spots: warm sea, long evenings and fewer people than high summer. We handle the restaurant tables and the early-morning museum entries so you do not have to.

Best time
May, June, and September for warm weather without the August crowds. July and August for the sea.

Questions about Italy

Villa or hotel?

A villa for a week with a group. A hotel for a few nights in a city. Most trips use both.

Can you arrange a chef?

Yes. A chef for the week or for selected evenings is confirmed in the proposal.

Villa or hotel?

A villa for a week in one place with a group; hotels for touring. Many parties do both, with a villa week in the middle.

Which regions pair well?

Rome or Florence with Tuscany; Venice with the Dolomites; the Amalfi Coast with Puglia. We avoid routes that spend more time in cars than at the table.
