Oceania Cruises · Vista
Portugal, Andalusia and the Spanish coast with the best restaurants at sea, at an upper-premium price.
Planning figure per person for the cruise itself. Final price depends on sailing date, suite and availability; flights, hotels and transfers are added in your proposal.
Oceania's restaurants are the reason to book it, and the Iberian coast is a fine place to test the claim: sherry in Jerez from Cádiz, tapas in Seville, paella in Valencia, with the ship's own speciality dining each evening. Vista is the line's newest ship and its most comfortable.
It is less inclusive and busier than the ultra-luxury lines, which is why it costs less. For grandparents hosting adult children who would rather spend the difference on a longer trip or a bigger suite, that is a good trade.
Why we like it
Oceania Vista, launched in 2023, carries around 1,200 guests, making it the largest ship on this list. It is calm and well laid out, with several speciality restaurants, a culinary centre with cooking classes, a large spa and an atmosphere that is relaxed and grown-up. There are no facilities for children.
Everything else, flights, hotels before and after, transfers and private days ashore, we add around it. More on Oceania Cruises →

Good to know
No, and we say so: it is upper-premium, with excellent food and service but a busier ship and a less inclusive fare. For many clients that is exactly the right trade.
Land & sea
Embarkation and disembarkation nights are part of the same plan. These are the places we would build around this Mediterranean sailing.

A house on the coast or in the hills, and a long table.

The Three Valleys from the front door.

A terrace over the sea and a boat below.

Ski school, a nanny, and the Three Valleys from the door.
