Questions

Pick a question.

  1. Is Explora good for families?

Yes. It is the luxury line we recommend most often to families and three-generation groups: large suites that connect in pairs, a real children's program, nine venues with no fixed seating and ships that are happy to see children.

  2. Is Regent worth the money?

Yes, if you value knowing the total before you go: the fare includes flights, excursions, drinks, tips and specialty dining. No, if children under ten are coming or you would rather pick and pay for excursions yourself.

  3. What is the best Mediterranean cruise?

For a family, Explora I from Barcelona to Rome; for a couple, Evrima on the Riviera or Silver Nova down the Adriatic; for grandparents, Regent around the Greek Islands. Go in June or September.

  4. What ship should we choose for a 70th birthday?

If the family is coming, Explora I or II with an Ocean Residence for the birthday couple and connecting suites alongside. If it is the two of you, Silver Nova or Seabourn Ovation, with a private dinner booked for the night.

  5. Which cruise has the best food?

Oceania for adults who travel to eat; Silversea for the best kitchens on a true luxury line; Explora for a family who want nine places to eat without compromise.

  6. Which cruise should I take with my grandchildren?

For grandchildren under ten, Explora Journeys in the Mediterranean or Caribbean; for teenagers, Regent to Alaska or an expedition ship; for calm water and city centers, a Uniworld family departure on the Danube.

Your question

Want us to make the recommendation for your family?

Tell us who is traveling, when and what matters most. A specialist answers with the two or three ships we would book, and why.

Our promise

We will say no.

We do not recommend a cruise because it is expensive, and we do not put people on the wrong ship. If the ship you are considering is not right for your party, we will tell you and suggest the one that is, even if it costs less or is sold by someone else. We are an advisor, not a booking engine.
